What I Photograph

Menu Photography

Menu photography built for print menus, digital displays and online ordering platforms with hero shots and full menu coverage.

Online Ordering & Delivery Imagery

Dish photography, sized and edited for delivery apps and online ordering platforms, where the image is often the only thing a customer sees before they order.

Cocktails & Bar Program

Cocktails, wine and bar service shot with the same attention as the food, for menus, social and press.

Restaurant Interiors & Ambiance

The atmosphere and details that set expectations before a guest walks through the door.

Lifestyle & Editorial Food Content

Styled images for social media, marketing campaigns and press.

If you also sell packaged or retail products, that's covered on my Product & Food Brand Photography page. Many clients book both, and we can plan them as one project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you shoot at my restaurant or in a studio?

Restaurant and menu shoots typically take place on site so the food is fresh and the setting is yours. Packaged product work is often better in the studio, where I can control the lighting and background. Learn more about my Product & Food Brand Photography services.

How many dishes can you photograph in one session?

It depends on the scope of the project, the number of images needed per dish and the amount of styling involved. For a typical two-hour restaurant shoot, I can usually photograph around 8-15 dishes, although this varies depending on the setup and how quickly the dishes are ready. Before the shoot, we’ll review the dish list and the types of images you need so I can plan the time accordingly.

Do I need a food stylist?

For most restaurant shoots, no. I work directly with the dishes coming from the kitchen and style and adjust them as needed so they photograph well.

Can I use the images on delivery apps and online ordering platforms?

Yes. Menu and dish images are delivered, sized and edited for online ordering platforms, delivery apps, your website and social.

How quickly do I receive the images?

Turnaround time depends on the size of the project and the number of images. I’ll always provide an estimated delivery date before the shoot so you know what to expect.

Do you photograph the restaurant space as well as the food?

Yes. Interiors, bar areas and details are often shot in the same session so the entire atmosphere is covered.

Do you photograph packaged or retail products too?

Yes, though that's a different kind of shoot. Packaged goods, CPG products and ecommerce imagery are usually studio work, and they're covered on my Product & Food Brand Photography page. If your restaurant also sells a retail line like sauces, baked goods, or packaged items, we can plan both together.
